Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Skilled Nursing role at Clover Healthcare in Auburn, Maine. This full-time position pays $22.50–$25.50 per hour, with day shift hours and every-other-weekend requirements.

Responsibilities include vital signs, daily living assistance, and participation in care planning, under supervision by RN/LPN/Director of Nursing. CNA licensure per state regulations is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Skilled Nursing

This position is responsible forcaring for the residents under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), LPN/LVN, or Director of Nursing.

• Compensation: USD 22.5 - USD 25.5 - hourly

Responsibilities

• Day shift (6:30am-3pm) available. Every other weekend is required.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
• Assist as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents.
• Provide skin care to residents.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the plan of care.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Promote and protect resident rights, assist residents in making informed decisions, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect, avoid the need for physical restraints in accordance with the current professional standards, and support independent expression, choice, and decision-making consistent with applicable law and regulation.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

Qualifications and Requirements

Level of Formal Education: A High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Special Certifications: CNA licensure depending on state requirements and regulations

Language Skills: Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
