Overview

Giving Home Health Care provides in-home care for individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities. We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Amarillo, TX area for a 1099 contract opportunity with PRN shifts available for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the patient's home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care
• Appropriately reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN/the care team and documents pertinent information
• Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake
• Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients/clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees
• Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies
• Completes yearly education hours

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certificate
• 1+ years\' experience in direct client care, or has provided home health services within previous 24 months
• Current CPR certification
• willing to get TB testing
• Dependable transportation
