Base Pay Range

$13.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Position Details

• Position: CNA or HHA (contract)
• Location: Clarendon, TX
• Compensation: $12-18/hour
• Hours: 10 hours/month, weekend visits

We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) in Clarendon, TX to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity. Patient's needs include 10 hours/month, weekend visits.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the patient’s home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care.
• Appropriately reports changes in the patient’s condition to the RN/the care team and documents pertinent information.
• Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake.
• Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients/clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees.
• Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies.
• Completes yearly education hours.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
• 1+ years' experience in direct client care, or has provided home health services within previous 24 months.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willing to get TB testing.
• Dependable transportation.
