Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the scope of the position and does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are performed in accordance with PAM Health's policies, procedures, and guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) as required by state law. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: No experience required, but 2-3 years in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
