Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and supportive services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the scope of the position and does not administer medications or therapies. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties are carried out in accordance with PAM Health's policies, procedures, and guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) is required where mandated by state law. Current BLS certification is also required.
• Experience: No prior experience required; however, 2-3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
