Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Hospice House team in Virginia Beach. This PRN, on-site position supports patients at end-of-life with daily activities, vital signs, and compassionate companionship.

The role emphasizes infection control, teamwork, and professional conduct, with opportunities for skill development and meaningful interaction with families during challenging times.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia CNA license (unencumbered).
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Willingness to complete a food sanitation course after hire.

FLSA: Hourly (Non-exempt)
Schedule: PRN - All Shifts Available (Day-Time: 7AM-7PM & Night-Time: 7PM-7AM, with rotating weekends)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA (Hospice House), you will play a vital role in providing care and support to patients during their end-of-life journey.

What You’ll Do In This Role

• Assist patients with daily activities, mobility, and personal care.
• Monitor and record vital signs as part of the care plan.

• Ensure a clean and safe environment in compliance with infection control protocols.
• Assist with meal preparation and serving, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

The Experience You’ll Bring

Required

• Current CNA license in the State of Virginia (unencumbered)
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
• Willingness to complete a food sanitation course after hire

Preferred

• Hands -on clinical experience preferred
• Compensation Range: $18.17- $20.00/hour (based on relevant experience)
