Job description

Cascades at Riverwalk is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in Midvale, UT. We are expanding our nursing team and are excited that you've considered us. If you want a supportive team beside you, grateful residents around you, and a place to grow as a CNA - you've found it!

At this time, we are only considering CNAs who have been certified and have worked as a CNA for a year or more.

Hours: This is a PRN position, and we are hiring for the Day Shift (6 AM to 6 PM) or Night Shift (6 PM to 6 AM).

Wages and Benefits:

  • Hourly range of $17-22

Training:

  • On-the-job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience.

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification
  • Effective communication with coworkers and residents
  • Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations regarding long-term care

Job Duties:

  • Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
  • Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
  • Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
  • Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive an appropriate diet
  • Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
  • Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their comfort
