Job summary

Community Eldercare Services (CES) is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team. This full-time position offers day shifts from 6am to 6pm and opportunities for growth.

You will provide direct resident care, monitor condition, take vital signs, assist with ADLs, and help with admissions and discharge in the Transitional Care Unit.

• Certified Nursing Assistant license in good standing is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit to monitor activity and ensure residents' needs are met including assisting with activities of daily living.
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident/patient change in condition.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse.
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices.

Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain positive relationships with the residents/ Patients

• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices
• Other duties as assigned
