Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Maryland is seeking a CNA to provide compassionate in-home care to clients across multiple locations, including Thurmont. You will support daily living activities, mobility, health monitoring, and medication assistance, with flexible scheduling and a focus on client independence.

Full-time field positions offer comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and ongoing professional training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional healthcare experience.
• Certificate showing completion of at least 75 hours of CNA training.
• Current, active CNA license in good standing.
• Bilingual in the languages listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate home care to clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Support mobility and transfers.

Job Responsibilities

You will provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients in their homes, helping them safely maintain their independence. Daily tasks include:

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Mobility Support: Helping with ambulation and transfers.
• Health Monitoring: Checking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and guiding range of motion exercises.
• Home Management: Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed-making etc.
• Medication Assistance: Assisting clients to take their daily medication .

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Education: Certificate showing completion of at least 75 hours of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training.
• Licensing: Current, active CNA license listed in good standing with the state board.
• Traits: A compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered work ethic.
• Bilingual (Spanish, ASL, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Arabic,Urdu+.)
