Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Day Shift

7:00 am - 7:30 pm

**Per Diem Rate: $25.00**

Position Summary:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assists patients in the rehabilitation process through the provision of appropriate nursing care and the carryover of rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain vital signs as directed
• Answer call lights promptly and report problems to a primary nurse/designee
• Assist with monitoring diets and nutritional supplements, and provide appropriate cues to patients for feeding or swallowing as directed by speech or occupational therapists
• Assist nurses with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate
• BLS - American Heart Association
