Baptist Health in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a telemetry unit on the first shift. The role focuses on high-quality patient care, including skilled basic tasks and collaboration with the nursing team on a busy telemetry floor.
The CNA must have Kentucky certification or be in early nursing training with clinical rotation validation and a BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Telemetry FULL TIME - 1ST SHIFT (DAYS). Tele 4 is a 10-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke, CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU. Tele 3 is a 22-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU.
