Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role performs resident/patient care activities and related services to meet residents’ personal needs, safety, and comfort. The position also involves fostering a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Meeting all health requirements mandated by law
