Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role performs resident/patient care activities, assisting with personal needs, safety, and comfort. The CNA also helps create a positive physical, social, and psychological environment, following all policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
  • Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and staff
  • Interest in and a positive attitude towards working with long-term care residents and the elderly
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Compliance with all health requirements mandated by law
