North River Village is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team in Tuscaloosa. Part-time evening or night shifts provide meaningful opportunities to care for residents with dignity and respect.

The CNA will conduct rounds, assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and document care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. We value compassion, reliability, and a commitment to infection prevention and safe care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing required.
• Experience in direct care rounds and activities of daily living preferred.
• Infection prevention and safety in a healthcare setting

Responsabilités

• Conduct regular direct care rounds to meet residents' ADL needs.
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and patients.
• Notify Charge Nurse of changes in condition.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Part Time- Evening shift- 3pm to 11pm or Night shift- 11pm to 7am

Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit to monitor activity and ensure residents needs are met including assisting with activities of daily living
• Maintain positive relationships with the residents/ Patients
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident/ patient change in condition
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse
• Complete all assigned duties and documentation as required
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices
• Other duties as assigned
