Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities in the state. This role involves assisting with daily living activities and providing companionship to residents.

You will monitor health through routine vital checks, support activities, and collaborate with families and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care. A CNA certification in Iowa or ability to activate it is required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in Iowa (active or able to activate).
• Commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive environment.

• Conduct routine vital checks and monitor residents' health.
• Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to support health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
