Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the organization’s mission and core values in all actions.
• Adhere to all laws and regulations related to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Provide age-appropriate care in accordance with SJHS standards.
• Assist with activities of daily living and other cares under RN guidance.
• Record vital signs and other patient data accurately and timely.
• Maintain knowledge and competency in the use of patient equipment.
• Assist with patient treatments and procedures.
• Support documentation and record keeping of patient care activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA Level II Acute Care course.
• Indiana CNA license required; CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Technician preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to support a patient-focused environment.
