Job summary

FH Staffing Solutions is a nursing agency seeking CNAs to join our team for immediate shifts at partner facilities. The role includes assisting residents with daily living activities, feeding, hygiene, and mobility, while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting health issues to nurses.

Requirements include an active MA CNA certificate, COVID-19 vaccination with booster if eligible, ability to pass background checks, and TB testing or chest X-ray.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in Massachusetts.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 with booster (if eligible).
• Ability to pass background check and provide references.
• TB test or chest X-ray within last year.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including meals, hygiene, mobility, and hydration.
• Observe residents, report health issues to supervising nurse, and document intake.
• Assist with feeding and nutritional supplements; transport residents as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe living areas and assist with bed-making.
• Support nurses and other staff; adhere to facility policies and procedures.

We are working with a skilled nursing facility in the area, and we partner with them to provide the best care. Immediate hire and guaranteed CNA shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
• Help Residents with personal hygiene
• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Document Resident food and fluid intake
• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Making the Resident’s beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

CNA Physical Requirements:

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to lift and/or move upwards of 100 pounds, especially for two-person Hoyer lift assists. Required to bend, kneel, or crouch throughout shift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

CNA Requirements:

Must hold an active CNA Certificate in Massachusetts

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 w/ booster (if eligible)

Ability to pass a background check (no charge)

Recent negative TB test or chest X-ray
