Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Nights Full Time

Join to apply for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Nights Full Time role at Trinity Health.

This position is based in the Observation - Short Stay department, working the 12-hour night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as eating, bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting.
  • Support care procedures including catheter care, sitz baths, colostomy care, and others.
  • Apply care products like compression devices and restraints appropriately.
  • Set up respiratory and cardiac equipment, including oxygen, suction, EKGs, and incentive spirometry.
  • Function in both CNA and Health Unit Coordinator roles as assigned.
  • Maintain current knowledge of nursing skills within scope of practice and utilize various applications and technologies.
  • Read, speak, write, and comprehend English effectively.
  • Coordinate eye and hand movements efficiently and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Multitask, organize, and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals and groups.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification.
  • One year of hospital experience preferred.

Compensation

Pay rate ranges from $17.89 to $25.04 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Pay may vary by location.
