Responsibilities

1. Provide personal care to residents ensuring safety and comfort.
2. Support residents' independence.
3. Communicate resident status to the charge nurse at shift start and end.
4. Contribute to resident care plans with observations and knowledge of residents’ conditions.
5. Assist with implementation of care plans as directed.
6. Observe, report, and document residents’ conditions.
7. Follow procedures for safe lifting and transferring residents.
8. Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required.
9. Maintain equipment cleanliness and functionality.
10. Perform incidental housekeeping to ensure a safe environment.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Familiarity with CNA duties.
• Strong observation skills.
