Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Madonna Ptak Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center on the hospital campus. You will assist patients with daily activities, monitor vitals, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
• BLS certification required or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Preferred: 1 year of CNA experience in LTC/IRF; newly licensed CNAs welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities and daily living tasks.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN/LPN.

Job Summary

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Morton Plant Rehab-Madonna Ptak Center on the Morton Plant Hospital campus, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate patient care under the direct supervision of an RN or LPN. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. You will be an essential part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clean, beautiful facility.

Minimum Qualifications

• Required : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
• Required : Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or willing to obtain before start date

Experience

• Preferred , but not required: One year or more of Certified Nursing Assistant work experience in a Long-Term Acute Care, Inpatient Rehabilitation or Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.
• Newly licensed Certified Nursing Assistants are encouraged to apply! We train and support you with growing your healthcare skills and CNA experience!

Location: Madonna Ptak Morton Plant Rehabilitation Center on the Morton Plant Hospital campus in Clearwater at:

400 Corbett St, Belleair, FL 33756

Status: Full Time (40 hours a week), Overtime available, but not required.

Shift Hours: Nights (10:45pm-7:15am)

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
