Job summary

Meadowlake Estates in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide residents with personal care, support the charge nurse, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

Shifts include Day 7am–3pm, Evening 3pm–11pm, and PRN. We offer competitive benefits and a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to quality resident care.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Familiar with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Strong observation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents safely and comfortably.
• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.
• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within policy and procedures.
• Observes and reports on residents’ conditions, and documents observations as required.
• Complies with safe lifting and transfer procedures per policy.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.
• Maintains clean and functional equipment.
• Performs incidental housekeeping to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

CNA Requirements:

• State certification as a nursing assistant
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant
• Highly developed observation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
