Accel at Crystal Park in Oklahoma City, OK is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join our compassionate care team. You will provide personal care, assist the charge nurse, and support residents with attention to safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• State certification as a nursing assistant in state of practice

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents safely and comfortably.
• Promote independence and support resident autonomy.
• Notify supervising charge nurse of resident status at shift start/end.
• Contribute to resident care plans with observations and insights.
• Assist in implementing care plans per policy and procedures.
• Observe and report on residents' condition and document findings.
• Follow procedures for safe lifting/transfer of residents.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting when required.
• Keep equipment clean and functional.
• Assist with incidental housekeeping to maintain a clean environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with community policy.


• Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.


• Advises supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.


• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.


• Assist in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure.


• Observes and reports on residents’ conditions, and documents observations as required.


• Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures.


• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting.


• Assures that equipment is clean and functional.


• Performs incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as may be required to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.


• Other duties as assigned.

CNA Requirements:

• State certification as a nursing assistant in state of practice


• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant


• Highly developed observation skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Shifts Available:

7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm

4 on 2 off rotating schedule
