Job summary

Riverside Post Acute in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a dedicated CNA for our Memory Care Unit. Provide compassionate, hands-on resident care under licensed supervision and support daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and personal care while promoting safety and dignity.

Requirements include an active CNA license in Florida, valid BLS/CPR, and experience in memory care or dementia care. We offer full-time and part-time roles, daily pay, and benefits including health, vision, dental, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
• One year of dementia care training and experience in a memory care unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
