Position Overview: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists residents with daily activities as outlined in their service plans. Responsibilities include personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, activities, orientation, and providing information. The role requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism due to ongoing interactions with residents and families to ensure satisfaction.

• Certification: Required per state regulations; successful completion of Springhouse’s/Arden Courts’ training

Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat for prolonged periods; push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted; full use of hands, arms, and legs; read thermometers, charts, and operate household appliances; good physical and mental health.
