Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide daily supportive care in a compassionate environment. You will work within an interdisciplinary team focused on resident-directed care, answering calls, assisting with ADLs, and documenting care in records.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in MO/IL/PA or enrollment eligible for PA registry.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and families.

Responsibilities

Job Description:SummaryProvides daily supportive and functional care to residents in a compassionate environment according to established community care procedures as directed by nursing leadership. Works as a collaborative member of an interdisciplinary team that focuses on the resident as the director of their own care.Job Responsibilities1. Maintains residents’ comfort; provides physical care with activities of daily living according to scope of practice; answers resident’s call lights and requests; reports observations of residents to the nurse2. Handles residents’ personal care needs and support in a timely manner; helps maintain residents’ dignity by letting them do as much for themselves as possible3.
