Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides resident-centered care, assisting with daily living activities under RN supervision. Responsibilities include bathing, toileting, grooming, vital signs, psychosocial support, transfers, range of motion exercises, and assisting with meals. The NA documents interactions, communicates changes, and supports recreational activities. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum age 16
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process within four months
• Additional state-specific certifications may be required
• Continuing education and competency testing required annually
• Must be medically qualified to perform driving responsibilities if applicable
