About The Role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll provide essential personal care, comfort, and support to patients under the direction of licensed staff. You’ll assist with daily activities, maintain a safe environment, and document patient data, all while ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist licensed staff with hygiene, physical care, and comfort measures for patients.
  2. Collect, transport, and handle specimens and equipment according to departmental guidelines.
  3. Observe and record patient data, promptly reporting any changes to licensed staff.
  4. Deliver care that respects patient rights and choices in a diverse, multi-cultural setting.
  5. Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and cultural diversity through your work.
  6. Ensure that care is age-appropriate, addressing the physical, psychosocial, and safety needs of each patient.
  7. Maintain a courteous and helpful demeanor with patients, visitors, and coworkers.
  8. Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance standards, participating in ongoing training as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of a state-approved CNA training program and competency testing.
  • Currently listed in good standing on the State of Missouri CNA registry.
  • Ability to read and complete documentation legibly in accordance with regulations.
Preferred Skills
  • Previous CNA experience is a plus!
  • Current CPR certification.
