This job posting will be used to fill one (1) current part‑time vacancy within the Minnesota Veterans Home - Fergus Falls. Shifts may be day/evening. The day shift is 6:15am-2:45pm, and the evening shift is 2:30pm-11:00pm. Weekends as assigned primarily on the day shift. The work schedule will include at least 64 hours per two-week pay period and may include additional work hours, based on business needs. The position is initially eligible for full employer contribution towards health and dental insurance benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for further consideration, you must be:

• Current registration as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Nursing Assistant Registry; and


• Able to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and take clear notes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing activities of daily living (ADLs)


• Experience working in a long-term care environment

Additional Requirements

This position requires successful completion of the following:

• A Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) background check may be conducted on the top finalist(s) for the position(s). When conducted, a finalist must pass the DHS background check.


• A Tuberculosis (Mantoux) screening (or chest x‑ray) is required prior to employment.
