Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide / CNA for full-time hospice visits across New Castle County, Delaware. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care so clients can remain safely at home.

We offer flexible schedules, a 1:1 patient ratio, and a comprehensive benefits package. Access to reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in home health or a related field.
• Must be listed on the Delaware Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must pass BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Criminal background check completed and up to date.
• Meet all state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Light housekeeping and home management tasks.
• Bathing, grooming and toileting assistance.
• Nail care and range of motion exercises.
• Transfers and use of lifting devices; safe ambulation support.

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an experienced Nurses Aide, CNA for a full-time opportunity to complete hospice visits to clients located throughout New Castle County. As a Home Health Aide, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides home health aide, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

  • Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:
    $17-$24 per hour

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the Delaware Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements
