Absolute Hospice, Inc. in Green, OH is seeking a dependable CNA to join our Hospice team for a dedicated, full-time schedule with day shifts, Monday through Friday.

You will care for hospice patients in their homes, performing personal care, monitoring vitals, and supporting families with compassionate communication. Requirements include a valid Ohio CNA license, one year of patient care experience, and a clean driving record with proof of insurance.

Competenze

• Certified and licensed CNA courses and certification.
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital, nursing facility, or similar.
• Current Ohio CNA license and competency in direct patient care during probationary period.

• Perform personal care tasks after patient assignment and address requests promptly.
• Provide positive communication with patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, nutrition, and feeding as assigned.
• Take and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Monitor skin condition to prevent tissue breakdown and report changes to the Case Manager.
• Assist with ambulation and safe transfers as instructed by nursing staff.
• Support light housekeeping and laundry as needed, and provide respite for caregivers when on-site.

We are looking for a dependable CNA to join our Hospice team. Absolute Hospice, Inc. provides hospice services wherever the patient calls home. This position will be for a dedicated, full time schedule caring for our hospice patients, Monday-Friday, day shifts only.

• Certified and Licensed CNA Courses
• High school level coursework in English grammar, composition and mathematics.
• One year experience providing patient care in a hospital, nursing facility or similar environment. Current CNA license and demonstrates competency in direct patient care during probationary period.
• Valid Ohio driver's license with safe driving record and proof of insurance

Responsibilities of the hospice aide include:

• Performing personal care needs after given a patient's assignment and attending to his/her requests promptly.
• Providing patient and family with positive communication techniques, within realm of ethical and respectful care, including confidentiality.
• Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned.
• Assisting in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
• Planning and preparing nutritious meals, including shopping, as assigned.
• Assisting in feeding the patient as assigned.
• Taking and recording oral, rectal and auxiliary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
• Providing proper care and observation of patient's skin to prevent breakdown of tissue over bony prominence.
• Assessing and reporting on patient's condition and significant changes to the Case Manager. Also aware of the caregiver or other individuals living with the patient and interpersonal issues.
• Assisting in ambulation and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist.
• Offering and assisting with bedpans and urinals. Providing assistance as assigned with light laundry needs.
• Providing respite for patient's/family/caregiver when on-site, as appropriate.
