Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Sebastian, FL

The positions we are looking for includes (subject to your specific licensure but may include): Compassionate and Experienced Individuals, CNA’s (Certified Nursing Assistants), CHHA (Certified Home Health Aides), HHA (Home Health Aides), Care Aides, Nursing Students, PCA (Personal Care Aides), Companion, and Homemaker services.

This openeing is for caregivers that are CNAs and HHAs for 8am to 8pm dayshift in Sebastian. OVERTIME OPPORTUNITIES AVAILALBE.

CNA/HHACompensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation: $16

CNA/HHA Responsibilities:

  • Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clients

  • Take vital signs

  • Examine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/wounds

  • Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members

  • Provide and empty bedpans

  • Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.

  • Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheets

  • Stay up-to-date on CNA training, policies and procedures

CNA or HHA Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Completion of a Florida State approved HHA Course or have a current CNA License

  • Current CPR Certification that included ain-person check off.

  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment

  • Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality

  • Up-to-date identification

  • Basic computer skills

  • Excellent personal hygiene

Standard shift:

  • Day Shift8am to 8pm

Supplemental schedule:

  • Holidays
  • On call
  • Overtime

Weekly schedule:

  • Monday through Sunday
  • 2 to 3 x12 hour shifts
  • overtime opportunities avaialable.
