Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role performs resident/patient care activities, assisting with personal needs, safety, and comfort, and fostering a positive environment following all policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation
• Positive, effective communication with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest and positive attitude towards working with the elderly in long-term care
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Meet all health requirements as legally mandated
