Summary of the position

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, this role involves performing resident care activities and services necessary for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents. You will also help create a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while adhering to all policies and procedures.

Requirements of the position

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in and a positive attitude toward working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Meeting all health requirements as mandated by law
