Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, perform resident care activities aimed at ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being. Assist in creating a positive physical, social, and psychological environment following all policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Meet all health requirements mandated by law
