Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, perform resident/patient care activities to support their personal needs, safety, and comfort. Assist in creating a positive physical, social, and psychological environment following all policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation
  • Positive, effective communication with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
  • Interest and positive attitude toward working with long-term care residents and the elderly
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Meet all health requirements as mandated by law
