Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, perform resident/patient care activities and related services to ensure safety, comfort, and personal needs are met, while fostering a positive environment and adhering to all policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
• Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and staff
• Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Meet all health requirements mandated by law
