Job description

Sandy Health and Rehab is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in Sandy, UT. We are restructuring our team to best support its growth and the needs of our residents! We are currently hiring for CNAs to work the floor. However, there is a path of progression for our CNAs - to either become a CNA Lead or CNA Mentor. If you want a supportive team beside you, grateful residents around you, and a place to grow as a nursing assistant - you've found it!

Hours:

  • We are hiring for the Full-Time night shift, which is 6 PM to 6 AM, 3 days per week
  • All full-time CNAs are expected to pick up 4 weekend shifts per month

Wages and Benefits:

  • Hourly range of $17-22

  • CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training:

  • On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification
  • Effective communication with coworkers and residents
  • Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Job Duties:

  • Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
  • Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
  • Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
  • Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
  • Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
  • Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
