Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Boise, located in Boise, ID, is a 40-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular issues, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in patient care by performing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Utilizes infection control procedures, basic nutrition, and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds appropriately.

Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or relevant experience will be considered in lieu of education.
  • Current, valid, and active certification as a Nursing Assistant, as required in the state of employment.
  • BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six months of hire.
Additional Qualifications/Skills
  • Preferably experience in acute care or LTAC settings.
  • Professional image and demeanor.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Proficiency with computer and software applications relevant to the role.
  • Drug and alcohol free in the workplace.
