Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Sacramento in Folsom, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team for the Day Shift. You will support licensed nurses with daily patient care, maintain a clean and safe environment, and monitor nutrition and hydration.

BLS certification is required within six months of hire. Two years of CNA experience or related work is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and active state CNA certification is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of Nurse Aide experience or other relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• Current, valid CNA certification required in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing personnel in patient care including activities of daily living and maintaining a safe environment.
• Utilize infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake monitoring.
• Recognize emergencies and respond appropriately.

Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Sacramento, located in Folsom, CA, is a 58 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. Full Time - Day Shift

Responsibilities

Provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor is required within six months of date of hire.

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
