Job description

Sandy Health and Rehab is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in Sandy, UT. We are hiring CNAs to work the floor. However, there is a path of progression for our CNAs to either become a CNA Lead or CNA Mentor. If you want a supportive team beside you, grateful residents around you, and a place to grow as a nursing assistant - you've found it!

Hours:

  • We are hiring for the Full-Time day shift, which is 6 AM to 6 PM, 3 days per week
  • All full-time CNAs are expected to pick up 4 weekend shifts per month

Wages and Benefits:

  • Hourly range of $17-21
  • 401(k) with company match

  • CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training:

  • On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience

Requirements:

  • Current CNA certification
  • Effective communication with coworkers and residents
  • Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care

Job Duties:

  • Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
  • Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
  • Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
  • Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
  • Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
  • Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
