Job summary

Northshore Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Lacombe, LA location. This full-time position supports inpatient rehabilitation patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, and orthopedic issues, providing compassionate care on 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Responsibilities include vital Signs collection, daily living assistance, meal delivery, and mobility support, with comprehensive orientation and a robust

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state.
• BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assist patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, hair care).
• Deliver meals and snacks; document oral intake and supplements.
• Turn and position immobile patients; assist in mobility programs.
• Answer patient call lights and provide services for physical well-being.
• Transport patients to designated areas such as treatment centers.
