Hospital Details

Vibra Hospital of Denver, located in Thornton, CO, is a 54-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

The CNA assists licensed nursing staff in patient care, including activities of daily living, personal hygiene, grooming, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Uses basic infection control, nutrition, and fluid intake skills. Recognizes and responds to emergencies.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or relevant experience in lieu of education considered.
• Current, valid certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Working knowledge of relevant computer applications.
• Freedom from illegal drug use and effects of substance use in the workplace.
