Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, perform resident/patient care activities, assist with personal needs, safety, and comfort, and foster a positive environment following all policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
  • Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff
  • Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Meet all health requirements as mandated by law
