Job summary

Aria of Waukesha is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver patient-centered daily care in a supportive, team-focused setting in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Must have current and active Wisconsin CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident assessments and care plans under supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living: positioning, mobility, toileting, bathing, grooming, dining, dressing.
• Support infection control and prevention practices.
• Record observations on flow sheets and care notes clearly and timely.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to supervising nurse promptly.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure resident-centered care.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Overview

The primary purpose of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Duties

• Resident centered care oriented including assistance with activities of daily living such as:
• Positioning, Moving, and Restorative Care.
• Mobility, Toileting, and Bathing.
• Grooming: Oral, Shaving and Nail Care.
• Dining Assistance.
• Dressing and Undressing.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Nutrition and Elimination.
• Comfort care and End of Life Care.
• Answer call lights timely and promptly.
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to your assigned nurse as soon as possible.
• Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift when they occur.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Be a team player working in coordination with all disciplines in the facility.
