Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Tasks include assisting with patient activities within the scope of the role. Does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent patient care responsibility. All duties are performed according to PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required by state; current BLS certification required.
• Experience not required; 2-3 years in a hospital or skilled nursing setting preferred.
