PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fargo is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. This full-time role supports rehabilitation patients and helps maintain comfort and safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Education requirements include a high school graduate, CNA certification as required by state, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required by state where hospital resides; current BLS certification required.
• Experience: None required; 2–3 years in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Do not administer medications or therapy.
• Adhere to PAM Health policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
