Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dallas is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate patient care on our brand-new Dallas campus. Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you will assist with daily activities, monitor comfort, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification, and current BLS. No prior hospital experience is required, though 2–3 years in acute or rehabilitation settings is

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision by Registered/Licensed nurses.
• Do not administer medications or therapies; follow hospital policies.
• Assist with patient comfort, mobility, and personal care as needed.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
