Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in the United States is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our patient-care team. You will assist with daily activities and comfort measures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LVN/LPN, helping patients on their recovery journey.

No medications are administered. A CNA certification and current BLS are required; High school diploma or equivalent; 2–3 years in acute or rehab settings

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• CNA certification as required by state; current BLS certification required.
• Two to three years in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities and comfort measures under supervision.
• Support rehabilitation goals and safety under RN/LVN/LPN direction.

Responsibilities

TheCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
