PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Katy in Houston, TX is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting. You will assist with daily living activities under licensed supervision, provide basic nursing tasks, and help maintain a safe, caring environment for patients and families.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA certification as required by state where hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2–3 years of experience in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist patients with daily living activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Provide basic nursing care as assigned and monitor patient needs.
• Observe and report patient status, changes in condition, and safety concerns to supervising staff.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity during care activities.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
