Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Denver is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Nurse. The CNA will assist with routine care, mobility, and comfort while adhering to hospital policies.

The position offers Full-Time hours with 3×12-hour shifts (6 am–6:30 pm/6 am–6:30 pm) and hourly rates between $22 and $26, plus the opportunity to earn up to $2.50 more per hour with shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. 2–3 years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities under supervision of a Registered or Licensed Nurse.
• Do not administer medications or therapy.
• Follow PAM Health policies, procedures and guidelines; assist with patient support and comfort.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Performs patient care activities within the limits of the position. Does not administer medications or therapy. Does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Education and Training: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides. Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience: None required. A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
